Sinfonia is the premier performing ensemble of the orchestra program, made up of the most advanced and dedicated student musicians. Members demonstrate strong technical skill, mature musicality, and a commitment to high‑level performance. This varsity group tackles challenging repertoire, represents the school at major concerts and festivals, and serves as leaders and role models within the orchestra program.
CAMBIATA
Cambiata is the intermediate ensemble designed for students who have developed solid foundational skills and are ready to expand their technique and musical understanding. This group focuses on strengthening ensemble playing, refining tone and intonation, and exploring more complex repertoire. Cambiata musicians are actively preparing for the expectations of varsity‑level performance.
ARIETTA
Arietta is the entry‑level ensemble where students build the essential skills needed for successful orchestral playing. Emphasis is placed on posture, bowing fundamentals, note reading, and ensemble awareness. Arietta provides a supportive environment that encourages growth, confidence, and a love for music, preparing students for advancement into higher‑level groups.
